My name is Kelly and my passion is to encourage and help moms in their breastfeeding and mothering journey. Whatever your goals are, I want to help you meet them! Whether you plan to exclusively breastfeed, use a breast pump, or partially breastfeed, I will work with you in the privacy of your own home.
I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), which is the gold standard in breastfeeding care. I have experience working with premature and full-term infants, multiples, babies with anatomical difficulties, NICU patients, breast augmentations & reductions, low milk supply, mothers who exclusively pump, re-lactation/induced lactation and much more!
I developed my passion for helping mothers with their breastfeeding struggles after my first child. I finished a degree in Dietetics from Purdue University in 2008. After working for a year in a hospital setting I decided to focus more and nurture my passion for mothers and children. I was fortunate to spend five years working for the Women, Infants and Children's program (WIC). There, I was working and learning very closely alongside seven very experienced IBCLCs. After completing the requirements I was awarded the International Board Certified Lactation Consultant Certification by IBCLE in 2011. I am very active in and currently sitting as Chair of the Healthy Communities Breastfeeding Coalition.
